USB-Serial device

The USB-Serial is a device that provides an asynchronous serial data channel in the form of a virtual COM port. USB-Serial device is an invaluable tool for developers during both in development phase and during the following debugging-configuration period.

The device features FTDI converter IC, which has royalty-free support across wide range of operating systems. Design of the USB-Serial device has taken into account the most common slip-ups during development, such as interchanging data signals, to reduce the risk of permanent damage to the device from these events.

Key features:

  • Galvanically isolated
  • Data rates up to 1 Mbaud
  • Variable logic level
  • Full-duplex communication
  • Traffic indication LEDs
  • USB port-powered
  • Isolated internal power source up to 50 mA
  • FTDI standard drivers
